It's not exactly how it works. Most doctors take Medicare/Medicaid. These CMS entities are the ones that require the mask mandate. If a doctor isn't in a hospital network, i.e. Ascension, McLaren, etc., the doctors usually can't afford the liability insurance. Most doctors don't like this policy, but if the State shows up they get fined for not following "Pandemic Policy". 😒
