My boss had an episode on Christmas Eve. He still hasn't told me yet, but his son told me they were sitting at the dining table and all the sudden his dad turned a pale gray / green color, his eyes rolled back and to the left then his body started twisting out of the chair, completely incoherent. Friend said if he didn't catch his Dad that he would have fell into their china cabinet. Friend thought his dad was dying in his arms! Paramedics came first thing they asked was if he was vaxed and then was treating it like a death and had the whole neighborhood blocked off. Friends dad spent a day in the hospital and the prognosis was dehydration / fatigue (yea right). Soooooo, now friends dad is out to prove to everyone he's perfectly healthy and has been backcountry skiing every single day since this happened. Now he's going scuba diving next week! Apparently the whole family is worried it is gonna happen again, and have been fighting him tooth and nail to not scuba dive and to not ski alone.
Anyone else have something like this happen to their friends or family?
ALl the super clips of the Astr Zeneca killing people overseas has them incoherently twisting in a circle before collapsing. A few of them act like they can see something chasing them and are trying to escape it before dying. It's very wild to witness. I can't imagine how you're feeling for your boss. Don't mention anything of this to your boss or rub it in his face. He is in God's hands now and you have to let people's decisions take course now. It's gonna be rough but we tried to warn them...
Yea, it's pretty tough avoiding the conversation especially when he meets me at job sites and STILL acts like im a scourge to humanity. He stands 10 feet away from me while we're having client meetings, won't ride in the same car to a meeting, even if we're standing together (10 feet apart mind you) right before we leave.
I can already tell he's super defensive about it and being an engineer I'm sure he's got some major battles in his head going on right now, but that would give him more credit than he's due.
Respect his wishes and remember to stay 10 feet away from his casket at the funeral.
