Meh, Crowder always seemed like a shade of corporate too. Saw this video uploaded yesterday and watched the whole thing. He made a few good points but at the same time sounded like he was reaching for more paid subs
I'm sure he is reaching for more paid subs. But that's exactly because he's not big corporate conservative.
Big corporate conservative doesn't need to get paid subs. How often do you see Fox News trying to get you to sign up for cable?
Trying to make money isn't "corporate." It's just what we all have to do. The problem is when you sacrifice your values in order to make a buck, such as punishing those who don't comply with big tech's rules that you speak out against, as in the contract he showed.
Definitely better than alternatives but a bit more focused on subscriber count than pushing out good information.
I feel a lot of youtube starts as that, sharing information gaining popularity, then grinding out content for more money it changes from helping to garnering monies. It's very rare for a youtube content creator not to sell their soul to the grind. They do exist, just rare.
