I would suggest you find a local patriotic group of anons who also are unafraid to be proper activists and just share the sign with EXIF information still in it. Let them figure it out and do whatever deeds they feel are appropriate - or not. At least then you're just sharing information and you have no idea about anything and they can be as private and cautious as they feel the need to be.
