She "retired" before her hearing, which I have since learned happens when they think they are going down. Ethics committee loses jurisdiction unless it is a sitting judge. Four months before she vested and six months after she was appointed chief judge of a particular division. Still, I know she wasn't in it alone. She just had to take one for the team. It is a slog to be sure.
