Marty jumps 30 years back (1985 -> 1955), 30 years ahead (1985 -> 2015), then 100 years back (1985 -> 1885) in the third movie.

edit: Doc Brown says at one point "I'll travel, say, 30 years or so. Nice round number."

Sorry, this is one of my favorite movie franchises. Can't let this fake news stand!
