I dont think lobbying for him to change his public stance on an issue counts as "throwing him under the bus". If we believe the vaccines are dangerous it is only natural we'd want our leader's public stance to align with ours. And he has no reason to change his public stance if we're not clamoring for it, so we might as well make some noise
