Like Socrates. He was publicly vilified and the state murdered him, but his good name lives on. Same thing happened somewhere in the Middle East a couple millennia ago.
As for advice to “utes” : Choose someone worthy of emulation and emulate the shit out of them. As a “ute” I chose Clark Gable. It worked out okay too. I was great as an overconfident (but never arrogant) wiseass. Now I’m focused on an obscure ancient Nazarene rabi. Maybe you’ve heard of him.
He’s a much harder character to emulate, but who doesn’t like a challenge?
