My guess: Its part of the cover-up playbook.

1. He's dead
2. Give the appearance he's on the mend (in isolation)
3. The GoFundMe does two things: Proves the narrative he's still alive; but more importantly it was set up as hush money to be paid to the family to "play along"
4. Soon, we learn that his "heart condition" worsens and he "dies" or he is declared medically unable to ever play again, vanishing in the sunset and never to be heard from or seen again.

Also, the Bills were beaten this weekend (rigged IMO) so the team and story can fade. If they advanced, it would be one of those "win it for the downed man" stories and I don't think the powers that be want to shed any more light/flair on this situation.

We all need to remember he was basically GONE for several minutes and the game was CANCELLED! That's unheard of for an injury.

And yea, unfriggin believable that we're in the midst of a recession and dingbats will donate to a near millionaire who, if truly alive, will be well compensated by the sport.
