This is great to incriminate Epps, but he doesn’t appear to lead the initial breach. Great evidence as to why he’s not in jail though

Leading doesn't necessarily mean in front. Recall he is yelling instructions to people (if you've seen other footage of Epps) and he is literally in the first dozen in.
