In the 1900s, we would have dangerous antarctic blizzard conditions, school all day. 4 feet of snow, school all day, flu outbreaks every year, school all day. World wars… school all day. Then, one day they discover covid in another part of the country and immediately shut every school for a year preemptively before a single kid caught the sniffles.
