The 168 members of the Republican National Committee began assembling in California on Wednesday, where they will gather in a $900-a-night hotel to pick their next leader.

Because, at the end of the day, they’re elites and they like to meet in nice places.

Still think there are better choices, like Nashville, TN or Florida. But since when has my opinion mattered to the RNC?
