Or are they having everyone get them at the same time to keep current.
I wonder if there is follow through or if it's a non issue now.

Yes, many tech companies require the jabs.
I had to submit a religious exemption to keep my current position in tech.
For me, it's been working out very well due to my work ethic and ability to not call out sick or go on leave of absence due to adverse effects I don't seem to fall victim too. Been working tons of OT and on-call work too, which is why my post count and meme production has dropped precipitously.
