I understand the frustration over the injustice, and especially the double standards. Still, the bottom line is who did what worthy of being arrested?
It would be more understandable if only people who entered the building were arrested. Even that's bs, especially for those invited in by cops, who stayed between the velvet ropes and did no damage. Even that low bar for fairness isn't maintained.
Still, there's no evidence Epps entered the building and that's the reason given for letting him off. So this should be leveraged for everyone else in that situation.
We have someone who was there and says Epps did nothing wrong. Personally, I don't understand that either; if entering the building lead to life imprisonment then encouraging people to enter the building seems problematic. And of course him not being prosecuted suggests he was in on it. Even so, I'm more interested in getting the innocent free. Ultimately, entering the building was not criminal.
If there's any truth to the pipe bomb claim, that would be criminal. That along with the original break-in was antifa, coordinated with Capital Police. The whole thing was manufactured by people a lot bigger than Epps.
I agree with edging you said. However, the Capitol Building is taxpayer funded and the people’s house, so maybe a misdemeanor Ag with a fine would be more appropriate. Certainly what most did was not worth of incarceration, no charges, and no bail.
Yeah indefinite detention makes sense for ISIS, not US citizens invited in by Police and staying between the velvet ropes. Feet on Pelosi's desk don't deserve a life sentence, this is ridiculous!; It's all about enforcing the coup, and trying to scare us out of taking the Country BACK; which was necessary in 1990 but this is more dire.
"Worse than Pearl Harbor" my eye! You've seen what Democrats did both at and in the Capital building that's was far worse, and nobody was charged.
Find him.
And prosecute him.
Agreed.

I want to see all Capitol police spend at least 10 years in prison.
As they wait in line for their turn in the trebuchet.
