Hasn’t had a full work up yet, so we don’t know the extent of the blockage or what procedures he might need. We have no family here, just one great friend but he’s traveling for work this week. I had to leave him alone in the hospital. I do all the meal planning and cooking, I’m 80% responsible for his diet. I just feel awful.
With that said, I have an interesting observation. He was not asked his vaxx status. How can you track vaccine injury if you don’t ask? I’m really torn here because I don’t want to disclose my status because privacy, but I’m growing concerned that we won’t have the data to conduct any research relative to vaccine injury.
Edited to update: he went to the cath lab this morning and his arteries are clear! No blockage!!! We have a few more tests to figure out why his blood showed a heart attack but this is great news! Thanks to all for the prayers!
Here in Ohio, the hospital system I worked at asked all employees to check off what was applicable: fully vaxed, partially vaxed, unvaxed. Then we were told to sign it to allow them to use/disclose in whatever way they deemed “furthered their business model. I wrote back a sentence, “ no I will not disclose this information, d/t HIPPA.” I assumed they would: 1) share this with the government, 2) share this with the health insurance company that covers employees, 3) place in a data base that could affect any future employment. HR has my manager “talk with me so I could fully understand the reason for signing the form”. I told my manager, “believe me, I fully understand their intent” and I said it with a sarcastic tone and a smile. When the next step was a compulsory flu vax, I said I am resigning effective immediately. (They knew my intent was to retire in two months anyhow, so it was a no brainer.)
