The whole point is the family should’ve never had to go through this in the first place. We’re clapping because they’re winning, but they were losing to be winning.
Satan's side always attacks first. Where weakness emerges, they penetrate.
God's side gets hit first, takes the blows. When strength emerges, good claims the ground that evil attacked from. So God's method of progress during restoration is to be hit, suffer, and then overcome to claim new ground.
However, I believe we are in a transition period; For millennia, good has been on the defensive and evil held the upper hand and the upper seat. We have finally arrived at the time when this has changed. It's a slow-turning tanker, but Good is now on the offensive, if you look all around us.
Until kingdom come, good people will continue to have to suffer things there never should have to go through.
But look at the picture of that family? Have you ever seen so much joy and love in the face of children? This difficulty will be a great lesson to the children on just how awesome their daddy really is. That's a STRONG family there, I reckon.

You got a good point. That family learned a very good lesson. They will be stronger for it, it’s just a shame they had to endure in the first place.
Indeed. We should remember that every stripe and lash we, or any of his children endures, the Father also endures.
Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted.
