Just goes to show how long this crap's been going on. Heard something similar regarding names in all caps on US birth certificates.

These evil ones and their ilk have been around since long before the 17th century. When one considers that it's been millenia, rather than centuries, pondering how to ever get out from under them and be rid of them for good can certainly be overwhelming and seem insurmountable!
