I can take a little bit of Gutfeld in measured doses... but in the larger picture, I think that the way most people get their "news" through late night TV, Twatter, and Fakebook is a sad testament on our culture. Snark, bumper-sticker sound bites, going for the easy laugh, and mugging for the camera cannot and never will substitute for in-depth investigation and reporting on the nuances of events.

This is how we got to the brink of WWIII nuclear war -- Ukraine good, Russia bad, COVID bad, fauxinnes good -- not by understanding what is going on, but being told by the Stupid Box what people should think.
