I was shocked last summer when I went to buy compost from our local lumber yard; they offered human compost to me as a cheaper alternative to regular compost. I said "yuck", no thanks.
It was probably milorganite. Works wonders in the yard, but it’s definitely an odd product. Although probably safe for gardening, I would probably opt for a non human option.
