Welcome to General Chat - GAW Community Area
This General Chat area started off as a place for people to talk about things that are off topic, however it has quickly evolved into a community and has become an intergral part of the GAW experience for many of us.
Based on it's evolving needs and plenty of user feedback, we are trying to bring some order and institute some rules. Please make sure you read these rules and participate in the spirit of this community.
Rules for General Chat
-
Be respectful to each other. This is of utmost importance, and comments may be removed if deemed not respectful.
-
Avoid long drawn out arguments. This should be a place to relax, not to waste your time needlessly.
-
Personal anecdotes, puzzles, cute pics/clips - everything welcome
-
Please do not spam at the top level. If you have a lot to post each day, try and post them all together in one top level comment
-
Try keep things light. If you are bringing in deep stuff, try not to go overboard.
-
Things that are clearly on-topic for this board should be posted as a separate post and not here (except if you are new and still getting the feel of this place)
-
If you find people violating these rules, deport them rather than start a argument here.
-
Feel free to give feedback as these rules are expected to keep evoloving
In short, imagine this thread to be a local community hall where we all gather and chat daily. Please be respectful to others in the same way
Hi everyone. Is there a possibility that you guys know of, of an unvaxxed person getting sick or getting skin (pre) cancer from multiple vaxxed friends? Should i limit my exposure to boosted people?
I'm not jabbed but lived in the same house with a person that was. I got very sick with severe diarrhea within a few weeks of staying there. I moved out and recovered. The person who got jabbed ended up in the hospital with intestinal bleeding. There are no coincidences.
Idk if this helps, before I took my new job in Sept 2022 I worked alone. In Sept 2022 I became a pca ( patient care aide) at a facility where I was the Only one unvaxxed. Within 3 weeks I was at the doctor and out a week of work with the flu. That was October. The day after Christmas I was out again with a sinus infection and back at the doctor. My doctor said I haven't seen you this much in 2 years, what's changed? I said I've changed jobs. I ended up being out of work 10 days. Then on Jan 19th I quit my job due to black mold. But, I was sick everyday that I had that job. My neighbor who volunteered at my place of work was sick also. Unjabbbed. I've been away from the job 3 weeks and feel so much better.
Report the black mold to the health department.
Also, going off what my sister said. I'm the only employee file she's taken ( owner). And seeing as how she threatened me with legal action. ( My sister is administrative over facility). She told me " I don't know why, she's worried about you, ive been contacted by 2 lawyers and had to send them info all week". So, who knows.
Thank you, I did.
...maybe that's why you were getting sick?
Thank goodness you left! It must have been the mold or that combined with vaccine shedding.
I agree, I believe I was both. It was awful. I feel so much better now.
Glad you're feeling better! 🙏
During our winter, which was 6-8 months ago, almost every one around us came down with something. For the vaxxed it was multiple times, and each time testing positive for the covid rapid test. For unvaxxed, it was just once, a strong flu - but tested -ve.
Only on unvaxxed person I know tested +ve (even though she was down with it only once) - and that person works hands on as a physical therapist with vaxxed people all day long.
My guess has been that the +ve test was because of shedding. So depending on how much shedding you are exposed, we cannot rule out getting skin cancer.
