The motivation to make turkey bend the knee is definitely there. Geopolitical tension between Turkey and NATO is very high right now...

When I heard about the earthquakes in Turkey, I remembered hearing something about NATO not being happy with them. Wouldn't surprise me that this is connected.

This is probably exactly what is going on but if Erdogan is on the white hat team or just knows what's up of course he won't bend, he will just have to join with Russia, after explaining to the world that NATO just attacked him with these fake earthquakes. BRICS will keep getting bigger....
