So, I watched a tv series called Seal Team, about Seal Team 6 (Bravo Team) deployments, how they each handled their missions (mentally & physically) and their home life. It's actually a pretty good series, one that my husband and I on a number of occasions, would look at each other and say "ah, would you look at that".

In one of season/episodes the team had to be deployed to do a mission that if they were caught the Navy & government would deny they were sent, and they would be on their own. Though I don't remember what season or episodes it was in or exactly what they did. (6 long seasons- long episodes with many missions) I know there was one that they had to swim a long distance to a dock building to collect data and to blow up a bunch of weapons stored there. Actually, there was a number of times they deployed on missions that they had to leave "no footprints" of them being where they went. They even had an episode about human trafficking of women/girls, while they were looking for a bad guy's wife to get information about her husband.

Anyway, all that to say that they say this in the article ...

Many plans and schemes as to how to go about this were entertained, but as they developed, the winning plan involved the use of deep-sea Navy divers, divers who were not part of any special forces units, as the use of those units had to be cleared by Congress and plans briefed to the Gang of Eight. This was not something Sullivan wanted to do.

The Naval deep-sea teams trained in Panama City, Florida, and by June 2022, Hersch reports, those divers, "operating under the cover of a widely publicized mid-summer NATO exercise known as BALTOPS 22, planted the remotely triggered explosives that, three months later, destroyed three of the four Nord Stream pipelines, according to a source with direct knowledge of the operational planning."

Reminds me of the type of missions the Seal Team did in the tv series. Makes one wonder how much they were trying to tell us in the tv series about the missions the seal teams do.
