I was thinking the same thing. These people can’t think, they are not creative enough to imagine a believable enough story to fool the masses. These are the same people who can’t even remake a story that already has source material. How bad did they fuck up rings of power or wheel of time or any remake in the last 10 years. They have no logical thought process, you think they can make up a air tight ufo story? I don’t.
Plot twist: all these bad deep fakes and masks are deliberately bad to keep us looking and accusing because when the fake invasion happens they'll break out the military deep fake tech that is leagues ahead of the consumer sector.
