Skagit County WA off HWY 20 (North Cascades HWY) way up in hills out a trail from old logging road while I was gold panning in Nooksack River in 1990. Above Lyman/Hamilton area. I was squatted down sifting through my pan when my stepbrother who was known for pranks told me to look up that Bigfoot was across the river staring at me: at first I ignored him thinking he was pranking me. When I finally looked up I slowly stood and froze. I was staring right at me, covered in dark hair and I’d guess 8.5- 9ft tall. No noise, no threatening gestures, just stood staring for about a minute and a half then turned and walked on two feet with huge strides off into the woods.
Experienced all kinds of happenings about 20 yrs later at our old place in Stanwood WA in woods too that went on for several years surrounding our dog resort on our property.
I made a report to BFRO and a local guy came out but they never logged my report. Guess they didn’t find me credible but I know what I saw and what I experienced. Never anything threatening though, just creepy.
Up in BC Canada, there’s a park called Sasquatch Provincial Park just outside Harrison Hot Springs. They us the term Yeti more for Asain area and around Mt Everest I believe. I really love the North Cascades area for it’s beauty and thick evergreens. Having moved to Missouri from Western Washington where I was third generation, I do miss my beautiful mountains.
Sasquatch exists. I have seen one
Abomitable!
