I had a part-time job tutoring freshman football players at ASU in his senior year. He was revered by the team as a leader and likeable person. I only saw him once, coming in from practice, leading the pack like a boss, and of course I never tutored him because he was a senior, and a good student as well as an outstanding player. I believe he sincerely thought it was the right thing to go and enlist. When I heard he did that I just had a sinking feeling, I knew he wouldn't come back.Too good.
