Fren, I'm a military wife and an RN, and I've worked in a military hospital. Military healthcare is not great, especially in teaching hospitals. I'm sure it is great for the President or vips, but for average people - no. I have the insurance option of military healthcare or civilian healthcare, and I always choose civilian.

I am prior service and yes, the majority of military healthcare isnt great. But they arent even getting military healthcare even at Walter Reed. They are getting the best of the best doctors; the ones designated ONLY for Govt officials in the DC area.
