I’ve been dooming for awhile now till tonight. Tonight was my first father daughter dance at our small rural school and let me say the group of MEN that was there was not huge but enough that I know it would have taken an entire country to come in and take or harm what is our most important thing in our lives. It felt good to be in a room full of real men and knowing that we are not alone in this fight so I say to the overloads please bring this fight soon so I may destroy you myself and not leave this mess for my kids to deal with.

I still remember the father daughter dances I went to with my dad in the late 90s. As the oldest daughter, I hold a special place in his heart and knew I was genuinely loved. It’s dads like him that keep young females from running into the arms of the first dude who comes sniffing around. I knew my worth because he instilled it in me.
