An obvious "red flag" is the notion of a supposedly especially intense or intimate presence of the Holy Spirit being localized to a particular geographic place or gathering ... with the tacit implication either that people need to go there to experience it, or that it needs to somehow "spread" from there. These are the characteristics of flash in the pan, emotion based, mass hysteria movements. I am dumbfounded how little Christians know about the person of the Holy Spirit and his work as described in the New Testament.
Would I like to be proven wrong? Sure, but none of the true biblical markers are clear whatsoever.
