There is a scripture passage that came to me one day when my feelings were hurt by someone very close to me..... If you are not welcomed in their home say peace be with you, shake the dust off your sandals and walk away.

In retrospect somehow that person regrets their action. If they apologize I'd forgive but they usually dont and its on them.
