Yeah no can do on ditching Amazon. I live 50 mins from the nearest big town and in order to search for things I need would take 10 stops to find it all, if I’m even lucky. I have a headstrong toddler who doesn’t listen and a 4 month old baby that will nap on the way to the store 50 mins away but will scream and cry the whole way back. Going to that many stores with little ones sounds like my personal hell.
Or? I could quickly type what I’m looking for, read reviews to make sure it’s legit and have it shipped to my door a few days later. It’s a habit I just can’t kick right. I did ditch Grove and use Melaleuca now. Patriot owned, nontoxic products. Baby steps. I really wish there was an alternative, USA made/organic, nontoxic only version of Amazon.
Sucks does it not? I’m sure there are actionable things you could do with your time beside not shopping on Amazon. Don’t tell you are subscribed to Prime and watching their programming. Nobody needs to do that.
Well I’m very much awake so I don’t watch programming and even I did I can see right through it and it’s all ruined, all garbage. I just rent old movies on there and see how they pushed the Overton window over the years. I just watched Rebel Without A Cause and even that was programming the youth into despising their parents. This was when the nuclear family was still intact, parents who are still together, they had hot home cooked meals every night and their parents bought them their own cars to drive to school. What a bunch of bull crap. Granted not all homes were perfect and there were abusive households. But the movie didn’t depict that, just bored rich kids mad about nothing. So bored they drive off cliffs.
