See how you talk yourself out of things?
So all you do is back to the above example.... it's crunch time. ...then just do it, whatever your thoughts or feelings on the matter at the time. If it needs to be done, just go do it.
Start off slow. Write down on a piece of paper in the morning what you need to do which is very realistic to achieve also how long to achieve it, set a timer, and when it beeps, no thought, just go do. Also put your phone away.
Now back full circle, can you see how your feelings are useful anywhere in the above? No where, right? So what's the point of them if you're trying to improve?
Edit: also, imo, a human's correct state of being is peace. No hate, no anger, no resentment, no jealousy, none of that in your heart, and practise it everyday, just let it go, and life is much easier. Imho, this is where God is, you can talk to Him as much and privately as much as you want, and it's none of anyone's business how or when you talk to Him. You WILL feel much better.
Im the same way right now. I usually have everything done, house, paperwork, laundry, etc. But everythingis behind. Ive been trying sounds, binaural beats for energy & focus. It been helping. Kinda goes with what DiveAndBait said.. gets your mind back on track & I stop over thinking things. Then once you get 1 thing off your list you feel good, then you want to do more. And if all else fails... pray on it!
