Sinema (along with Joe Manchin) sided with Republicans to thwart Democrats filibuster vote, and Hobbs has been spotted wearing an orthopedic foot boot which is rumored to be used by high profile people to hide an ankle monitoring bracelet. This is weak evidence to go on, but there is a chance they both have already accepted plea deals and the good guys are a lot further along with draining the swamp then we know of.

I don't know where he went, but I sometimes imagine people one letter away from the spyder might be what they say. If so, he seemed like the 99 type except when pushing certain memes. Maybe he got new orders?
