My initial advice as a "newbie" is to be an observer before becoming an OP. The observer length of time varies. It's dependent on the amount of observer time you put into it as well as your comfort level. I'll use myself as an example. Prior to becoming a GAW member 3+ years ago I was a VOAT member for over 4 years and didn't post anything for 3 or 4 months. During those months, I was pretty much glued to VOAT. A lot was breaking loose and happening back then (and it hasn't let up since) - Trump's presidency, Pizzagate, Seth Rich, the Clintons, Epstein.
The learning experience in and of itself is phenomenal. Yes, this is serious business here on GAW, but you can also have fun., but it is not some fly-by-night chatroom.
Due diligence is imperative whether it's a link post or a text post. One link, imo, is never enough. One link should lead to others. Often, one link provides you with additional links, and it makes it easier to check things out. If not, start researching...and I wholeheartedly and completely agree with the adage, "If it seems too good to be true, it's most likely not true."
Right? It's too hard today to know what's real and what's not. Deep fakes, Photoshop, satire. I hate having to be skeptical of every last thing I see and hear.
QandAistheWay's Rule #1: If it seems to "good" to be true (i.e., boldly displays a deep state connection anons have spent years digging on) then it's most likely too "good" to be true.

Too bad so many people do not possess a good bullshit detecter. And even those of us that do, some times get glitches where we get fooled.
