The lead attorney/general counsel and head of HR both went scurrying out the door like rats after instituting the policies.
Interesting. Mine are all going down with the ship. Multiple lowlifes from HR I spoke with just said "I'm not responsible for the policy, I'm just following orders" LOL. I also had a VP tell me to my face that (whom I previously gotten along very well with) that he's in full agreement with the mandates and he wasn't terribly sorry if I wasn't going to comply lmao. Those kind of people I have a hard, hard time finding forgiveness for, despite what Christians are called to do.
What industry were you in, if you don't mind me asking? To say it's been tough on me is an understatement.
Finance. But they like to think of themselves as a "tech company" and take their policy cues from FAANG. I saw the writing on the wall way in advance and had plenty of time to prepare. Ultimately, we were/are part of the cancer killing society, fueling the debt based, usury slave economy and the company will have to go under. I spent a big part of my life there, but it's still difficult to walk away.
I guess with LinkedIn, it still could be used to get myself employed again, so I won't go too far out. I changed part of my profile to reflect my view on the mandates and the few recruiters I spoke with were in agreement, at least.
