That's cool. I did the same thing but God choose to let my dad die and then God cursed my wife very shortly after.

For whatever reason.

At this point I just say, whatever God, your choice, guess it doesn't matter in the end anyways.

Some people get "lucky" with the God prayers and some people don't.shrugs
