“ A small sampling of Pennsylvania Republican voters shows Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis leading former President Donald Trump in a field of possible GOP 2024 presidential candidates.
According to the poll conducted by Harrisburg-based Susquehanna Polling and Research, DeSantis received 37% of Republican support while Trump received 32% with 17% of GOP voters saying they were unsure.
“This is significant because it shows DeSantis is already making huge inroads with Republican voters in a key swing state Trump won in 2016,” Susquehanna wrote in a summary.”
