Say not unto thy neighbour, Go, and come again, and to morrow I will give; when thou hast it by thee. — Proverbs 3:28
Amid all my imperfections, one of the biggest things I struggle with is procrastination. There are many times that I find myself distracted and struggling to do things that I need to do. Even though something is extremely important, I often find myself saying those words, “I’ll do it tomorrow.”
Procrastination is a real thing for many people in a wide variety of areas. People often say it in relation to work, school, relationships, or many other things. It can be just so easy to say, “I’ll do it tomorrow.” But what happens is that we often put off important things that we actually need to do.
The same goes for our spiritual lives as well. Have you ever found yourself in certain situations putting off important things for your Christian life? For example, maybe you have a busy day, and it’s tempting to put off the prayer for your food. Or perhaps it crosses your mind to thank God for His goodness and mercy. Rather than doing it, you simply say, “I’ll do it tomorrow.”
Even in our relationships with others, as the words of this verse indicate, procrastinating can be dangerous. We don’t know what tomorrow may hold. Maybe tomorrow will not be better or more convenient than today. Or worse, what if tomorrow never comes?!
Whatever you find that God places on your heart today, don’t put it off until tomorrow. Read your Bible. Spend time with God in prayer. Say the words “I love you” and show others your compassion and care. Each day we let slip away in procrastination is a missed opportunity. So don’t put it off until tomorrow. Live for God today!

Tomorrow never really comes...we are always left with today...and the memory of yesterday...
....if you live in the past...
...you will always be depressed....
...if you live in the future...
...you will always be anxious...
...but if you live for this moment....
...you will be satisfied....
That is true...IF you live in the past...but as we get older, the pleasure of distant memories really is such a great companion and brings such joy...not dwelling...just remembering...I love when something I read or something someone says evokes a memory...and I absolutely love thinking about my many years lived and time has such a way of helping us to remember the good times, the joys, the pleasures and especially the people...I picture the past as a beautiful garden where I can go and pick a beautiful bouquet of flowers anytime I want...and I never run out of beautiful flowers to pick. I don't picture that as any kind of a mental disorder, rather a very precious gift from God...being an oldster yourself, don't you agree just a wee bit??

Grandma Dog
...Grandma Dog would and I always followed her examples...
I am sure she would be pleased to see what an obedient dog you turned out to be...actually she might be surprised to see that you are a dog at all...but I digress...I couldn't help myself...
...she often referred to me as a "dirty dog"...
...but always with a smile and a gleam in her eye...
...Grandma Dog had a weak spot for outlaws and stray dogs...
