Why would Trump himself call for protests of his arrests k owimg what they did to supporters when he called them to dc on jan 6th. I just dont get it.

My guess: because people need to see something besides the media narrative. People must know that there is a massive groundswell of support for President Trump, and the only way to know that is to SEE it. Otherwise the media will lie and do what they always do.
