How does "Misprision of Treason" play into this?

Play dumb as a defense?

Misprision of treason is an offense under U.S. federal law which involves the concealment or failure to disclose all pertinent facts to proper authorities when a person has knowledge of the commission of a crime, resulting in fines not more than one thousand dollars and imprisonment at hard labor for not more than ten years.
