They have more natural resources than China. Why don't they just trade in gold? Like they're doing to Europe right now to get around gas sanctions? This won't happen. It seems like it's just to appease their trading partner China. China's exports have declined dramatically since trump initiated the trade war, and their own arrogance of showing how powerful their regime is with "zero covid". China is heading back to a farming nation and quick. I wouldn't bet on their yuan
