Vaccine hesitancy: Why ‘doing your own research’ doesn’t work, but reason alone won’t change minds

Vaccine hesitancy is often met with one of two responses: Ridicule, or factual information. Both assume a failure of reason, but human behaviour is more complex than reason, so both responses fail.

Oh by all means, NEVER think for yourself!! Just stand in line, get your vaxx'es, and then head to the waiting cattle cars, and don't forget to stand in them shoulder to shoulder with your fellow sheep. A short ride will follow and all your questions will be answered upon arrival. Don't mind the dogs and soldiers, they are there for YOUR protection.
