ESG money is dropping as investment firms start to distance themselves from it.
Now there’s no longer a guaranteed flow of cash. Regardless of their actual business performance. The Corporations are starting to trim the fat and liabilities.
Rumor is Marvel is going to see upcoming release schedules slashed. And Kathleen Kennedy is going to be the next prominent leftist cut in a bid to reboot Star Wars.
Not quite sure they’ll be able to manage a franchise reboot though. Even if they “De-Disnefi” the cannon as is the rumor. There’s been a lot of damage done and goodwill lost.
Which is the most impressive part. They took a golden franchise with a literal license to print money. And dozens of potential essentially pre-written movie scripts in the form of both cannon and EU material. And turned it into a wreck limping along on the life support of a couple passable shows.
I refuse to watch any new SW/Marvel stuff in the theater. I only watch stuff on my friends disney accct if i watch anything. Will take a lot to be willing to give them another dollar.
Why watch it at all? What's the appeal - you know the outcome. All those movies are totally predictable.
