I've turned into a daily tiktok viewer recently it's the most uncensored mainstream platform I've seen a huge amount of red pilling is going on over on tiktok and the gov can't censor it that's why they need it gone
I don't believe the tiktok app is spying it went viral due to the terms and conditions looking bad out of context and for people that don't understand why an app needs to capture keystrokes etc
They've got other backdoors to spy thru the chips the hardware the Comms equipment they don't need an app for that
yeah it's ironically overflowing with redpills which is one reason why they want the ban, the other is just to squash non-US social media competition
I think there are probably security issues but if that's the problem couldn't they open source it and fix the code? not like the other social media don't have security issues
well the key is data centers are needed to store all those videos, and that's expensive
app itself is very simple
the way android works (i'm no so big on iOS) is every app runs in a container and android is pretty secure, if the app is spying it could be solved by the operating system, but it still doesn't make much sense to me - they make the chips they can insert spyware into the firmware no problem - i'm fairly sure the snowden leaks revealed all this
