What I have noticed very often is that kids have been spoiled so much by progressive parents that the kids are demanding everything they want and they will get very upset if they don't get stuff - crap-tons of stuff. According to the average tictoc, it's the little kids who are running the family. And the thought of doing any work at all in the house or the family has died completely.
