I was recently thinking about the Israelites as slaves. I was pondering how they got through it, until Moses liberated them from their captors.

The thought crossed my mind that just because we are faithful doesn’t mean that we won’t encounter severe trials; including illness, and death. I understand that.

My hope is that whatever comes our way - United States, that American 🇺🇸 love of God, country-ingenuity, work ethic, and know how, will aid the faithful in handling upcoming trials and tribulations.

I thought of the Savior, increasing the faith of the Israelites in the wilderness with trials, but also his compassion towards them by giving life saving mana, and knowing we still have miracles is a comfort to me.
