I remember Steven Spielberg making short videos for Hillary during the 2016 campaign and they were so flat. Not even the guy that brought us all those amazing movies could lift Hillary into a sympathetic or inspiring light.
With Trump?
You have 1000's of people making videos like this that are inspiring.
Not hard, when the subject does all the work for you.
I am always reminded of when Trump plowed through those leaders to be in front, then casually adjusted his suit lapel.
Lol, boss move of all time and we love it, while they hate it with a passion.
Spielberg’s latest movie, The Fabelmans is a absolute garbage. It truly is a hacked out piece of trash. Borderline blasphemous and makes Christians look like crazy people.
Spielberg really only has less than five really good movies that he’s made during his overstayed career. Not to say he isn’t good at getting movies made... but go back and rewatch a lot of his films and they really aren’t as good as we remember them to be.
Agreed! I recently rewatched the Goonies for the first time in…35ish years? It was such a letdown. Even the nostalgia couldn’t break through. Same thing with Poltergeist. Could be my anti Hollyweird bias coloring my subjective opinion, But I will always give him loads of credit for JAWS, ET, Close Encounters, Raiders. Those films hold up IMO.
Those four films you mention are definitely his best, minus E.T. (imho) - when he hacked the re-release swapping guns for walkie talkies that was a deal breaker. Ironic, considering Spielberg’s interaction with director John Ford at the end of The Fabelmans, Ford would never compromise his artistic integrity and if he were alive today would have bitch slapped Spielberg for compromising his ownwith the E.T. edit. And, much like your Goonies take, that’s how I feel about E.T. - my 10 year old self loved the movie... but it doesn’t hold up at all regardless of edit for this 50yo today.
I’ll throw in Saving Private Ryan as the fifth... but in retrospect it too is hard to take in knowing all wars were/are globalist created... especially wars with titles such as “World War II.”
Spot on! I actually forgot about the gun/WT switch out in ET. I watched it with my son (his first time seeing it at 6 yrs old) a couple years back and kind of was watching through his eyes, so I still got the wonder and emotion etc.
I’ll echo your thoughts on Saving Private Ryan onto Schindler’s List and Amistad as well - incredibly powerful films, designed to reinforce our deep brainwashing and ignorance of true history.

Supreme Alpha now in the room. Haha
