Give us the TE/DR*, man.
*Too Expensive; Didn't Read.
I think, generally, that technofog writes some good stuff. Sometimes it's worth paying for, and sometimes it's not.
I'll miss reading him. I hope he finds a different monetization method or improves to the point that I think a subscription is worth it. Of course, theres the rub - I'll never know because I can't read his work anymore.
My apologies
Why is this stickied? Paywall.
I haven't read techno fog in a while. If he wants to charge money just to read his articles, he should fix the duplicate word typos. (Ctrl-f "most most")
My frickin' wallet wants to talk about a frickin' paywall.
Article is foggy

TechnoFog now wants we to pay for his two paragraph articles? Unreal …
I think Substack reached out to a lot of the people who were getting a lot of traffic to "encourage " a subscription model. Midwestern Doctor wrote about it at the first anniversary of starting his stack. (MWD chose not to make the pay wall, but simply said, if you want to give, awesome, thanks.) But since then, I have noticed more pay walls.
Alex Berenson I believe does a variation where the articles are pay walled first and released to all a few days later.
