Hey everyone. I know not everybody here necessarily follows or believes in astrology, but I personally do, and I've definitely noticed its impact on the geopolitical stage, so to speak. I just wanted to share something neat I heard on a podcast this afternoon--so if you're interested, read on to see my take on how the planets & stars are currently affecting this situation!
Trump's indictment today took place during what is called a "Void Moon" period. In simple terms, that is the period of time in which the Moon is moving from one sign of the zodiac to another, and not forming any alignments to any planets. And what that means, according to astrologers, is that things that happen during Void Moon periods often don't have anything come of them. Events & plans fall through, things don't come to fruition...and dare I say, unjust indictments end up being "nothing burgers" ;)
The lady who runs the podcast I listen to doesn't like Trump, and even she said "don't get your hopes up about this indictment, it's during a void moon so chances are nothing too crazy will come of it." And I mean......all of us in this forum could've told you that without astrology LOL. But I thought it was neat, how the timing lined up.
I've heard that Reagan used astrology behind closed doors, and that he indeed knew about void moons. Apparently he would intentionally schedule press conferences for void moon days if he didn't want the public to make a stink about them, or if he wanted whatever he was talking about to fly under the radar. Dunno how true that is but it's interesting to think about! J.P. Morgan (the evil bastard) was also quoted as hiring financial astrologers for his work.
One more fun fact that yall may have heard: Currently Pluto is in Aquarius, which is a big deal. This is the first time it's been there since the Declaration of Independance was signed. It stays in each sign for like 20 years or so. In Aquarius, it is said to mean "revolution." And indeed, think of that time period...revolutionary war, industrial revolution, french revolution......by god, I'd say we're due for a damn revolution in this day & age too! So I personally believe that this astrological event is coinciding with the Great Awakening which we are all witnessing unfold. We are at the front seats of history being written, every day. It'll be fascinating to see what happens next.
I mostly wanted to share the fact that even from a Trump-hater astrologers point of view, this indictment is gonna be a huge flop 😂 I figured as much, but honestly I feel reassured that it's apparently written in the stars too!
Hi! I recommend a few sources--a website called Cafe Astrology is invaluable for beginners. It is where I learned all the basics. Astro.com has lots of resources too, and they're one of the more "official" websites about astrology. If you feel like taking the YouTube or podcast route, check out anything by Chris Brennan, The Astrology Podcast, and Anne Ortelee. I absolutely love Anne. She's a pretty left leaning person and I definitely don't agree with all of her political viewpoints, but in my opiniom she's an incredibly well-spoken person with a big heart. I have learned more from her "weekly astrological weather" videos and recordings than anywhere else, other than Cafe Astrology.
The more you delve into the subject, the more complex it tends to get--but don't be intimidated if it seems like a lot of info. You don't need to know it all. The most important things are the signs of the Zodiac, the planets that rule them, and the house system--which divides different areas of mortal life into 12 slices, one to correspond with each Zodiac sign. Aries matches the first house, Taurus the second, and so on. There are common denominators between houses, signs, and the planets connected to them. And you'll learn that all the signs have different relationships with one another in interesting ways. That's where Anne's information is wonderful. Every week she talks about where the planets are, what alignments they're forming, and what that means for us humans.
All that being said, astrology has vastly improved my quality of life. I've never been an unhappy person, but sometimes really weird and confusing shit happens. Astrology has helped me understand how there is divine timing in everything. It's helped me look at stressful situations from a different and more spiritual perspective. At the end of the day, that's what it's all about!
I wish you the best with your journey. If you do decide to learn more about astrology, one day you should come back to the day you posted this comment to look at the transits from the sky to your own birth chart. Chances are something interesting will line up, which perhaps encouraged you to learn more~ :)
Thank you so much! Will be definitely checking out your recommendations.
Look for a planetarium they almost all do public shows, and have astrology classes associated with
