There’s a whole book on it called The Bible. But the long and short of it is that while the Jews were chosen, God always had a plan to bring Jews (who followed Jesus and broke with traditional Jewish law) and gentiles together as Christians, following Christ. It is a long story but worth hearing and reading. Start seeking the answers to your questions and you will find.
It seems highly improbable that there could be a creator of the universe who would choose not only one planet but one group of its inhabitants as his perfect creations. It seems to be a self-aggrandizing fairy tale that christians go along with to their own detriment.
Would you kindly explain to a poor soul who grew up without religion why gentiles follow a hebrew god?

I guess we all have our beliefs. You do you and I’ll be me. Love yo you Fren
Actually I try my best not to believe anything. I think practicing extreme doubt is enlightening but faith is mystifying.
