Link to yesterday’s post.

Holy Father, now we are reaching the commemoration of Jesus’s last supper and arrest. This should also remind us not to just let valuable people fade away from our radars. Maybe they do not want to share their personal situation when they step a bit out of the light. So are human relations. Friendship is a bidirectional concept. Always let people know how well you mean and don’t especially expect the same in return for nobody owes any of us respect or love. We owe it to everyone else and we should stand as an example in this matter.

Today I will…

Contact a long lost friend.

AGENDA

Today we celebrate Maundy Thursday: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maundy_Thursday

Maundy Thursday or Holy Thursday (also known as Great and Holy Thursday, Holy and Great Thursday, Covenant Thursday, Sheer Thursday, and Thursday of Mysteries, among other names) is the day during Holy Week that commemorates the Washing of the Feet (Maundy) and Last Supper of Jesus Christ with the Apostles, as described in the canonical gospels.

Today we also celebrate Pope Sixtus I: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pope_Sixtus_I

The oldest documentsuse the spelling Xystus (from the Greek ξυστός, xystos, "shaved") in reference to the first three popes of that name. Pope Sixtus I was also the sixth Pope after Peter, leading to questions as to whether the name "Sixtus" is derived from sextus, Latin for "sixth".
